Hi,
I figured this was as good a place as any to post this. I have been working with a 12 year old racer in Texas US who is pretty much winning every race he enters on his little bikes. We think the kid has long term potential so we would like to get him over to Europe this year to see how he matches up against some good competition.
Some options we are looking at are the RFME CEV 85GP class or the British mini-bikes series. We do not want to ship over his bikes so we are essentially looking for someone to let us rent/borrow a bike and some local support. Best case situation would be to arrange to meet us at a track so the boy can essentially show up and ride. We prefer to ride in the more competitive classes, in the US he is riding a KX65 and a small GP framed bike with a Honda single 110cc 4 stroke in it. He rides these in all the allowed classes. Here in the US he is also riding the Endurance races. On some weekends he is actually riding on a team with an R3. So an option would also be to have him ride with a team over there.
If anyone has any interest in helping us out or could point us in a direction where we could get more help please either post here or sent a PM to me. Much appreciated. _________________ MC28 SP
Hi there. This might not quite be what your looking for, but a good friend of mine owns and runs a training school in Malaga, Spain, which also runs kids in a various championships including CEV.
They specialise in training kids to be mechanics, a few of which now work in MotoGP, but they are looking for racers I think. Not quite sure if you pay, or if they sponsor, but if you like, I can send you my mates contact details.
