Thanks Hurdy.

After a bit more checking in the garage, it seems the front end I have is all NC30 as the discs are 295mm (marked ED) and the caliper/pad/disc swept area looks right.

When i bought the bike, i also got a set of 275mm discs (marked ME) that came with the bike - i assume these are the standard MC21 discs?

Also supplied was a second set of calipers, that as far as i can tell are identical to the ones fitted (no part numbers visible on either set) - are the NC30 and MC21 calipers the same?

The very helpful JonMac has advised that the slightly shorter NC30 set up can result in clearance issues with the v-piece under heavy braking on track.

I am running Tyga RSW fairing lowers/uppers, does anyone know this set up provides any more (or indeed less) clearance around where the traditional v-piece would be if i were to stick with the NC30 set up? It is hard to tell just looking at reference pics.

I am trying to avoid having to swap out the whole front end to MC21/MC28, as a fair bit of cash has been thrown at getting it to the state it is in now.

Any help, advice or ridicule welcome!

Thanks again.
Max
