Actually, I agree... I've never not agreed. My argument, backed up by data, is that a like-for-like '28 is not as good as a '21 [or '18] in the engine department. It's just fact. Those "in the know", could also tell you the chassis isn't as good as the '21, but they remain diplomatically silent. To me, and most people, the chassis wouldn't make any difference, but it's not so for someone who knows what do with one professionally!

No-one's going to dispute that an HRC kitted MC28 isn't a great bike, or even that an MC28 (personally I like the Rothmans and the '94 white/blue SE) isn't a lovely looking bike.
