Carburettor tips please.

JaviNSR » Sat Jul 05, 2014 2:00 pm

Hi Mates,

Finally i have the carburettors separated on the desk. Wink I was trying not to open them because i was a little afraid of my skills Embarassed but now it's done. The assembly is quite dificult but not imposible. I had to put labels on every hose. Embarassed
Looking carefully I've seen the throttle position sensor spring was trapped with the trottle body housing, and surely there is an air leak in the cover seal. It seems it got trapped when closing the cover.
Now i'm going to clean them up with carb cleaner and an airgun.
I have an aftermarket carb kit with new needles and gaskets i will replace all the stuff in the kit.
I will check the two needles to see if there's any diference in shape or size.
Also i was trying to get the best setup for carb for the sunny days in Madrid, so any tips are welcome.
Thanks for your help.
Cheers.
