MC28 Carburetor

ericandchi » Tue Jun 10, 2014 2:37 am

When I first started to mess around with my MC28, I wasn't able to find a view of the float bowl. The tuning section just has a nice pic of an MC21. I figured the MC28 carb is different enough that at some point someone might appreciate this pic.

One very noticeable difference - In order to shorten the carb, the float bowl is actually at an angle to the slide and therefore the needle doesn't go directly into the main jet holder. There is a small tube where the needle goes into. For lack of a better term I just labelled it the "needle jet receiver".

Comments and opinions always welcome.
