- 1. Don't do it... just find another frame - there's enough of them about!
- 2. If you really must, have a professional do it!
There's just too much at risk by straightening it yourself. If that mount fails while you are at 200kph because you failed to treat the metal properly before and/or after straightening it, who knows what may happen!
A professional will (should) be able to x-ray and/or stress test the mounts after the job is done too, something you can't.
It just ain't worth the risk!
