The mighty 300 is running well, amazing how an 'old' bike gets a small crowd around it when it goes out.

Anyway, she is running at a coolant temp of 67 - 70 degrees - steady state, 65mph on the road.

I think that this is a little hot (certainly I used to race my RS at 52 degrees).

Any opinion out there on this? I am considering a radiator cut to lover the temps. I figure that it is not entirely efficient with water flow from right to left. Has anyoe tried inserting some block off sections in the side tanks to make the water flow a zigzig (top right - left - mid right - lower left and exit). This may promote more efficient cooling?
