I reckon that I've got it about right;
The '28 for the obvious reason of it being a '28, I've always wanted one, now I've got one.
The TransAlp to actually get me to work on time, around and about with a bit of kit (it's fully panniered up) and practicality (I do 14000 miles a year to work and back alone).
And the RVF to do either's job if they are unable to do so (NSR blown up, 'alp being serviced etc.), TBF it's nearly as sweet as the '28 and with a tailpack on it's nearly as practical as the 'alp.
In my dream world garage the '28 would be an sp not an se, the RVF400 would be a minter with a fancy JHA twin exit (WSB style) exhaust on and HRC goodies galore and the TransAlp would be a BMW R1200gs. So I guess I've got a poor version of some of my dream bikes. I'd like a Harley Sportster 883 too, and a CR500 and some road wheels for it (or 2 CR500's
