You might think this crazy but consider making yourself a set of stainless reads. They were made and installed by the folks at American Honda on the RS500s run in the 80s. Generally not known by or provided to privateers. Try a set on one of your 250s for practice. They wont do much for the bottom end, but should suite you fine for the track. I will inquire on recommended thickness and grade.
