Came across a rough, but running 1992 SP that was originally a Rothmans. Went down and picked it up this weekend and after looking it over, feel it's a good start for a decent track toy project.
Needs a complete tearing apart and cleaning up. need to pull heads/barrels and measure crank play, as well as make sure top end is okay. Would rather spend money now on pistons/rings now then have to replace the cylinders/heads cause I was too lazy to check them out.
Not going to go full factory restoration on this, as it will be for track days, but will go with the rothmans body work (most likely MC28 chinese stuff).
On the upside, it does have a US territory title, so if I ever decide to sell it/register it, it will be an easy job to do, making it worth some additional money here in the states.
It came with a near full set of Honda Factory Rothmans decals. But since I am going to go with cheapo aftermarket fairings, wont be using the factory decals. Probably will be seeing these decals up in the classifieds section real soon
