I am sure that he knows what he is talking about and it is a good explanation,...but,...
I have measured this on two bikes, both MC18 (R5k and R6k) that were running fine, and have found that the resistance across the HT coil is about 3300 ohm, also the resistance across the plug cap is about 5000 ohm, giving a total of 8300 ohm.

Are you sure that the battery is fully charged and working well? I suspect that this is your problem.

Also, I do not understand "pase". I am guessing you mean voltage or resistance? (or pulse?)
