Although, just thinking about that,..
If you took the average weight of your motorcycle rider in the US vs the UK, in to account,.. then maybe,
In the US you would gain about 1 inch of ride height
In the UK you would gain about 50mm of ride height
with the rider in-situ.

Perhaps this is what Andy was implying?
