Hi, I do apologize if something similar has been posted.

I have an MC16 that Id love to restore. The question is, is it really worth while? I do not have any real mechanical know-how but I am prepared to give it a go.
It does seem, however, that parts are very hard to find and that no parts carried over to other models, making things even more difficult.

So, really, is it worth an attempt or save my money and begin a new project using a model with sufficiently available parts? Id hate to be mid way through a restoration only to find it practically impossible to complete properly.

Id really love to hear all opinions.
