Also, I can't find any regulator/rectifier on the engine that is in the wire diagram. Is that something I need?

Lol, you don't have to tempt me, I'm very tempted. But If I put the engine in the superkart, and collect NSR-parts for a year, then I'll just have to do a simple swap to get the engine into the bike
