Re-machining the stock heads for o-ring grooves is possible, but you will also need to re shape the combustion chamber to suit otherwise the increase in comp and reduction in squish clearance will cause problems.

Also, you'll want to look at a VHM head to see the routing of the o-ring. That'll give you a good idea of how to do it.
