I was contacted by a prospective buyer and asked my opinion on it - as if I know anything?!
Anyway, it looks rather clean, but in my opinion not clean enough for the premium price for an R model. It does look however to be a prime candidate for a "concours" example if the few minor scrapes (such as mirrors) are rectified. If the owner would drop a few hundred to allow the buyer to purchase the genuine Honda parts to restore it, you would have a near perfect example judging by the pictures I've seen.
It makes Monkey's bike look like it's been owned by a 16yr old most of its' life, and his is clean!!
