MC28 fork adjuster part number?

kiwisteve74 » Sun May 29, 2011 6:14 am

Hi guys. I did an unbelievably stupid thing to my mates MC28sp this afternoon. Both fork adjusters were seized. I lubricated the left one and gave it a tweak and it freed up nicely. Not so lucky with the right one, the microscopic grub screw holding the blue adjuster broke and so too did the brass piece it connects to. The brass adjuster is part of a long thin aluminium rod which passes through the damper and has the valve at the tip. looking at the parts manual It looks like it is only sold with the complete damper cartridge. Can anyone confirm the part number i am after as it shows the same parts diagram for both SE and SP forks but im sure they are different? and there is no listing for the blue thumb screw??

Alternatively if anyone has a knackered set of forks with a good adjuster i would be happy to buy at the right price.

Steve
