spoken to a few people and i should have no trouble registering it if i swap everything over to the other frame. So going ahead with it. Will post a link to photobucket (when i find my usb cable for my camera) of the bike when i got it and what ive done so far. which is basically only cleaned all the rust off chrome using scrunched up aluminium foil and water (yes it actually works, easier and better than steel wool and doesnt leave scratch marks) sanded back and polished some of the alloy. Next up is ripping out the motor. Cracking open the crank case somehow and rebuilding both the bottom and top end. Hopefully all i'll need is a new crankshaft, flywheel locknut and seals.

planning on polishing the rims and frame as well. Is it better to have them sand/soda blasted or will industrial paint stripper be upto the task?

also alot of the bolts etc look pretty ****, rusted or completely black. will they polish up okay? or should i just replace them. I may even just sand them back and spray them matt black but i think shiny shiny would look better, especially the bolts for the fairings.

I think next time i'll just buy another gas radio control car to build. alot less trouble Smile
