Scotch brite pads on the exhaust ftw!
Just been cleaning up my forks, found that scotch brite pads just don't cut the mustard when it comes to the pitting through the anodizing.
120, 240 grit sandpaper, dremel, buffs and polishing compound; 10-20 hours and a final scotch brite for that brushed finish.
