RE: the rvf rear end The rvf swing arm has an off set shock tunnel and needs alot of work to fit. Better to go for the mc28 arm or a cheaper alternative is to use an nc24(vfr400) arm( no offset tunnel) fitted with an nc30 axle.
I've fitted an nc30 axle to the nc24 swing arm i've got. you just need to machine the bearing surface on the stub axle to fit it into the nc24 hub, and then re-harden the bearing surface.
i'm also using the shock linkage from an mc28.
whole assemble has only cost me £20.( managed to get the wheel for free)
if you can get hold of a complete rear end for next to nothing keep the wheel and sell the rest !! Very Happy
