Had the forks out of my new toy over the weekend (see this thread: http://www.nsr250.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=9178).

Im interested - has anyone ever worked out which spring were in each model - eg 21R, 21SE, 28SE and so on. Lengths weights etc - I have a couple of spare (alternative) springs to choose from - different lengths with spacers to make up the distance.

Without buying anything aftermarket Im keen to learn which was which - was it the 'cool' thing to run the springs out of one model for a particular reason?

Also one of the sets I have are linear and the other sets are stepped (dual rate)...
