- I'm not sure on the oil pump test - easiest thing to do is run 30:1 premix with good synthetic oil with the lines to the carbs disconnected and check it after you do get it running.

- The gauges do look a little low - maybe the front piece that they sit on and the fairing bolts to is bent forward?

- I wouldn't worry about it sitting 6 months. All of my bikes sit nearly that long every winter.

My advice - don't try to do everything at once. Get the carbs rebuilt and put it back together with what you have. If it runs ok, then work on one thing at at time so you can always have it back together easily and see constant progress. That will keep you motivated and also have the bike coming along pretty well. A lot of guys will bring a bike home and get excited about doing it all, then break it apart into a million pieces and lose interest or get completely lost. If you can get those carbs rebuilt in a week or so after the parts arrive, you'll love playing with the bike and can't wait to fix the next thing.

Enjoy!
Craig

**Edit - I just remembered that the manuals have just been released in English and are available on the forum (look in the stickies at the top). Keep forgetting to order mine too!
