After the weather "chaos" my engine got stuck in parcelforce world for a few days, having been nicely flowed and ported by a very nice man indeed! A call to tyga (wonderful people) got me a very comprehensive top end rebuild kit at a price I'm still suprised at, even with the postage!
So after a failed start this morning (heater ran out of gas) I finally got on with the job of putting the motor together.
Crank in..
Pistons in their place
And the rear cylinder fitted
I would have got more done but I took the time to remove the rc valves and clean behind them, plus cleaning up the gasket surfaces took a while.
Should have the engine completely built by the end of the week (time permitting... as usual) and the frame is going away for a small weld, after that happy days, get the engine in, pipes fitted and welded and we are making progress!!
First test day is 20th march at Anglesey... the clock is ticking!
