1991 MC21R Tyga Bits (Sydney) + Rego and Issues

Skyntara » Sun Sep 06, 2009 7:26 am

Hi Guys,

If you have been following my exploits you'd know I've had Vanessa for a couple of months now and she's brought me a little joy, but mostly pain.

My facilities aren't quite adequate to give her the attention she deserves.

I (optimistically) paid $2.5k for her 2 months ago and have spent about $600 or so and untold hours getting her pretty much back to how I bought her.

Finished the rebuild and she's just nipping up on her problem cylinder. There's plenty of pics of the barrels to show they're actually very clean.

Full Tyga Exhaust + Tyga CF cans.
Tyga CF/Fibre Race seat with battery moved to rear.
Tyga (I think) front fairing that's a bit dinged up (cracked windscreen too)
Tyga CF rear guard
Rego until May 2010

Bottom fairings are originals, but a bit messed up - still mountable but cracks and damage around mounts as well as some scratches. They are currently off the bike because it looks better without them and the amount of work I've been doing on her.

Ding on Tank.

Front tyre needs replacing - rear has heaps of tread.

No problems with anything electrical or mechanic except the right/front cylinder. It's running choppy (possible air leak) and has nipped up after the rebuild. She starts and runs ok.

If I got enough offers on parts I would seriously consider parting her out but I'd really like to sell her to someone who can make her happy again.

So I paid $2.5k and I'd really like as much back as possible.

Picture below.

Cheers

Clancy

She is cleaner than this now - these were taken before I did all that work.
