Bottom plug issue

Kubira » Sat Sep 05, 2009 10:24 am

Ive just reassembled my top-end, seems tight, extra ponie or 2 on-board which is nice.

Ive only one issue, that is the bottom plug doesnt want to color up. AJ is almost 3/4 out (guess ill have to screw it in to 1/2 in the morning), and still remains light, the top plug is wet at above 1 1/2 so i have it set at around 1 1/4 (nice tan).

Just to recap, reason i rebuilt the top-end here : http://www.nsr250.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=7981&highlight=

seems i have sorted out the 6 k rpm issue too which im happy about, i rekkon the crap i cleaned off the bottom piston was the cause, or, ive reset the power-valves to option 1, may have also helped.. Smile

new parts i used were power-valve seals, barrel gaskets and 128 jets. i was running 150's, previous owner had them installed to run with a set of tyga pipes
