I had the bottom cyl pipe fitted pretty nice, not a drip of oil at all on my first 3 heat cycles with no sealant....

The top was a way different story though. Barking and spitting oil all over the nice - clean - new cylinder.

I tried to swap the manifolds and now I cannot get the bottom pipe lined up.

All this might be due to the extremely tight fit between the pipes and manifolds. I've already done a lot of work just getting the manifolds into the pipes...... But the GP style pipes that were on the bike accept the 300 manifolds nicely. So it's like these pipes are a bit small(?) and any little spin of the manifold makes for a lot of binding with NO play at all to even get the mounting bolts started....

Running out of patience fast.

Evil or Very Mad
