Splice has now been re-wired and soldered properly, heat shrink wrapped and fully taped up, nice and cosy.





I also took the opportunity to rewire the gearing so i'll get that little bit extra in the the top 3. Wasn't my tidiest job but it's definitely solid. As the 3rd wasn't cut i had to cut and wrap the heat shrink to make it more secure. Looks a bit dodge, but isn't going anywhere. now. Anyway that's all wrapped and back in place.



I think i'll need to start with the actual dirty work now.
