Anyone with a non-existant level of mechanical sympathy at cold start-up deserve premature engine failure in my opinion! Same as these retards that think it's clever to bounce their bore-strokes off the rev limiter in neutral because they've see some (sponsored) stunt rider who doesn't give two hoots about his motor do it!

I personally put a lot of the cracked exhaust bridges and transfer ports down to poor warm-up. If I'm wrong, so be it, but I'm not going to treat mine like an idiot to find out. It's been seriously abused for 13 years now (once warm) and none of the ports inside have ever cracked, which is more that can be said of some of the motors I've seen inside, some of which have been a lot newer!
