MC21 crank seal help

Glenn » Mon Aug 25, 2008 9:14 am

Hey all, after four long years I finally started to put my 90SP back together. I had blown a crank seal at a track day some time ago, it smoked very bad out of the right pipe.

Early in 2006 I ordered all the case seals from Tyga and the bearings from the guy in Australia on here, I took the bottom end to Harry Okuda who did the work of replacing the bearings.

After another couple of years I finally got around to a fresh top end and putting everything back in the bike today only to start it and smoke pouring out the right pipe (lower cylinder) I know it is trans oil...it stinks Mad

Is it possible I got a bad one, or Harry got something wrong?? He is no longer with us....besides myself.....I can not believe I have to pull this all over again and split the cases.....anything I should pay close attention to or look for when apart?

Thanks..... Crying or Very sad
