There is no ignition switch, that's what the card does.

Contary to popular rumour new ones can be obtained but the only place I know of that can get them is Bat Motorcycles in the UK. They must have a contact at Honda because the card on it's own is listed as no longer available.

The alternative would be to get a whole new or 2nd hand PGM-IV and card (the card has to match the PGM) or switch all the electrics and steering lock from an earlier model.
