There's nothing wrong with pattern bodywork... If it's a clean tidy bike, I'd rather have that, than tatty OE. Even most of the 4-5000 bikes being sold over here fro mthe nutter dealers and people willing to buy them have had crash damage and it's becoming more and more difficult to find a bike of this age that hasn't been down the road at least lightly, so don't let that put you off.
