one cylinder not firing

Maroochynsr » Sun Apr 13, 2008 8:27 am

G,day i have a problem with the front cylinder its exhaust runs cold while the other cylinder exhaust heats up as it should i have spark and fuel (i think) as end of plug is wet and barely blows any smoke out the muffler compared to the other side.I had a similar promblem with the rear cylinder burning out plugs after a couple 100ks so i pulled down the carbs and cleaned and checked the reeds as i thought it might b running lean on that cylinder all seems to be ok at the moment except that front one.Nothing down low but if i hold it flat it finaly hits band go to change gear it dies its like its starving for fuel down low would that cause exhaust to run cold and have no back pressure? thanks for any help.
