It totally depends what you want, the HK bodywork can look OK with a bit of care. But it will never ever ever pass for o.e. stuff in a million years. As for why they can't just follow how Honda painted them, I'll never know.

But then again, a full set of NSR bodywork from Honda is going to set you back somewhere in the region of a grand or so and getting 2nd hand panels in perfect condition is near impossible. I'm not a big fan of bikes so spotless and scratch free you daren't use them anyway so for me it'd be track down some normal condition Honda o.e. panels and go for the "used" look. After all, these bikes are 10-15-20 years old, they shouldn't be that mint.
