Honda can supply everything, as can Tyga and I'd presume therefore Jap4Performance as well.

I've never used a new little end bearing in my life and have not seen or heard of one failing, I have however seen 2 of the little pins that stop the ring rotating come out, both times on an old (i.e. supplied in an NSR from the factory) piston.

Roll the dice, pay your money, take your pick, the only thing that makes a difference to power is worn rings, the rest is just for peace of mind and preventative paranoia.

At a very very cold Brands Hatch on Thursday in practice I seized the top cylinder going into Paddock Hill, proper 4 point lean/cold as hell seizure and the engine wasn't cold, so I took the front barrel and piston off my road bike (which lives in the van) the top one being a bitch to get to with the oil and water res and oil pump in the way, and chucked it all on leaving the front head in place, used the old gasket, clip and bearing, went up a couple of jet sizes. I was back out after lunch and raced it all weekend without a single problem.
