Hello, I need your help guys. I was out at a track day, my bike would only rev to 11k. next time out it sputtered around 6k and the tach would go wild when revs went up. the battery was found to be at 9 volts. I changed the battery went out for a ride today, started right up then the tach went crazy wouldnt rev past 5k and then died. where do I look next. the bike was in excellent mechanical order. bill-in california.
