The engine on an SP is a stonker when derestricted. Way more midrange than an MC21/28SP and almost as much top end. Tuned, they're again a good match for the best 250's ie, the MC21...
They have great suspension out of the box and handling is arguably even sweeter than the NSR, although I think the riding position is way too laid back.
Basically, get an NSR, 'cos they're way better!
