nothin prepare's you for the noise and speed of f1. it's boring on tv but to be there is totally different. much the same as motocross , tv can't do it justice. imo the best motorsport to spectate , by far is pro motocross. if you have never been then check out a maxxis brit championship round or even the mx gp which is held at donington this year.

They are f'ing loud, although I reckon a Mazda 787B I once heard ( Quad rotor wankel Le Mans Prototype) would give them more than a run for their money, that thing was evil... Anyway, back to bikes!
