I managed to crash in practice this time!

Felt a right berk!
Felt good & the bike was going well too. I was getting to grips with the track as I`ve never ridden in the dry there before. Coming out of Clearways I lost the back end, it came right round. I managed to save the high side but, it then went into a violent tank slapper & spat me off on the low side.

Trashed the fairing, seat unit, handle bar, front brake lever, foot peg/rearset & rear brake lever. The right exhaust took a good bashing too. My leathers have a hole in the back, crash helmet & gloves were ruined too.
I`ve got a big bruise down my whole left calf, a big graze & bruise on my right elbow. Cuts on my hands, bruises on my arse, right hip, right shoulder & back. I got winded badly & pretty much my whole body aches. Only when I laugh, as they say!
The bike was following me up the track, we both went into the gravel trap where it dug in. I was happy about this as I thought it was going to clout me! When we took the belly pan off in the paddock it was full up with gravel! Weighed a ton!
Anyway, my dad, my mate & myself managed to patch everything up & get me out for the last F400 race. On the grid before the warm up lap the bloody visor fell off of my bashed up crash helmet! Had to pull off the grid.

I still feel pretty confident in my abilities & feel I`ll go well when I`ve healed up & get out again.
I think I`m going to call it a day for this season now though. I`ve been spending too much money lately & have to stop now before it gets silly. I`ll clear my debts & save up for next year. I can`t afford the repairs to the bike & leathers, replacing my helmet & all the running costs on top.
I`ve enjoyed it & think I`ve proved the bike & I can be a contender when I get the finances sorted.
I hope Dan`s okay too, he high sided & managed to break his ribs! Spent four hours in A&E.

I don`t think the NSR`s like Brands!
Nice to meet you Maxim. Sorry we didn`t talk longer. Hopefully, next time I won`t be so silly & keep it the right way up. Give me more time to socialise.
Cheers
Roy.
