Hi, I've been having a power loss with my bike but no misfiring (till I checked all the electric's)!, then the bike began misfiring after 20min's or so, most noticably between 6 and 8500 rpm. Crying or Very sad

I traced the problem to the front coil, after removing the spade connector's and their rubber boot's, one of the connector's was all black and gunged up, Stripping back the wire revealed it to be BLACK! Shocked

I chopped into the loom in a few places, the copper wire on the black/yellow is badly tarnished at least 18inches back from the terminal! Confused

I'm going to replace the full length from the PGM to be safe.

No wonder the bike had poor performance!

This may or may not be linked to to your problem, but may help, checking the condition of the female spade's is difficult without removing the rubber boot.

I'll let you know in due time wether this has cured my ongoing running problem's.... Wink

Good luck!

Regard's Phil
