Stripping unnessessary parts

blue_landscaping » Thu May 10, 2007 9:28 pm

Morning, I have a quick couple of questions, with relation to my mc28 track bike.

When I remove the radiator over flow bottle, (i'll block off the hose that runs to the radiator), can this do any damage? I'm thinking expansion of water subsequent preasure and that the bottle possibly acts as a breather vessel?

There is another bottle that sits behind the dash cluster tucked away in the front behind the fairing, what is this for? It's got me as it's in a really inaccesssable place. Its empty at the moment anyway, but tracking back i can't see where it leads.

There is a switch much like the choke and and in the same location, that has 'lock' printed on it, not that i'm going to remove it but what the hell is that for?

Is there anything ese that I can strip on the bike thats not needed for track application?

Thanks in advance, Mick
