If I wanted to do that with the stock rearsets, I would hack the pushrod in half, and make a pivot point off the front lower mounting. I reckon that would work OK.

I'll rough up a diagram, as it's easier to illustrate than describe... being as I'm no teacher!! Very Happy



Does that make sense?

Of course the geometry will need a little bit of fiddling with, but I'm sure you can get the idea. This will allow the actuator arm on the selector shaft to stay roughly in the standard orientation.
