I had a 2000 RS250 with Marchesini rims, and tried to fit the rear onto my MC28. You would have to either use some type of flush-mount brake-disk bolts or make cutouts in the RS wheel to get it to sit all the way on. Yes, the centering cones are different also. I believe the MC28 cone will still work just fine, though. Everything else seems to line up, but also the chain will sit *very* close to the wider rear tire.
