MC28 motor into a MC21, easy or not?

wtf? » Mon Dec 18, 2006 3:32 am

Gidday Guys,

Ive got an MC21 that has had big end bearing seize/disintegrate with the resulting mess hurting bores/pistons/crank bearings etc

I have found a replacement MC28 engine which, I think, will be cheaper to put in than repair the one I have.

Before I buy it, could anyone please tell me if its just a straight forward swap, or have I got some work to do with different electrical connectors/carb rubbers/powervalve connections etc?

Any advice or comments would be appreciated.

Thanks very much
Richard
