I'm just fed up with never-ending PC replies and moderation.

I don't want charity, but I do appreciate support, and I'd much rather provide a service to make a few quid (as that's all I would make from crank rebuilds).

The cheapest "listed" price for a crank after shipping (and that's MC21/28 ) is £409, and there is the high probability that in the UK VAT and import duty at 21% will get charged on the price, making a total of £494.89. That's all irrelevant if you have an MC16 though, as the crank is different!

The next cheapest crank on the UK market is £520.

In my experience a good used crank is going to set you back at least £200, so £300 for a rebuilt one is a bloody good deal I think.

The only other rebuild service I have heard of was £600, again for an MC21 crank.

Once again I find myself justifying my existence. Rolling Eyes
