There is a non-refundable £25 deposit that covers assessment of the crank. Naturally there is no point in fitting main bearings if the big-end pins are worn as it's a false economy. The £25 covers removing the outers, splitting the crank, and measuring all the components.

If the crank is beyond repair, it will be returned disassembled (at your own cost) or scrapped, depending on your preference.

Main bearings and centre seal for the MC16 are £125, and the crank rebuild is £150.

Total cost is £300 + return shipping.
