forthcoming Performance Bikes 2-stroke feature...

Andy » Tue Oct 19, 2004 3:40 pm

Sean from RGV250.co.uk has been in touch to say he's been e-mailed about a forthcoming PB 2-stroke feature. Here's a copy of the e-mail he's received:
"The feature I'm doing on advances in two-stroke technology and a possible comeback will be in the Jan issue (out towards end of November).

You could actually help me out a bit if that's ok - I want to know what current two-stroke owners would think to a new stroker with injection, four-stroke bottom end (injected air to scavenge, so cases not required to act as a pump), no sweet synthetic smells and potentially a delivery almost as smooth as a four-stroke.

Would they buy it? Are they all purists, preferring the conventional style engine? If you could maybe stick something on the forum or contact some mates to get a few views then I could use some opinions in the feature, anything you can perhaps get would be greatly appreciated.
"
If the response here is worthwhile, then I will e-mail Mike (the PB writer) with your points-of-view and see if I can direct him towards the Forum too.

Maybe a lot of interest from us "strokers" could help persuade PB to do another 2-stroke frenzy in the summer?!! ;)

Cheers,

Andy.
