Finally got the bike home. I eventually got it to start on ether, but I wasn't happy with what I found on the front spark plug. I took the carbs off because they oviously weren't doing anything. When I took them apart they looked worse than any carb I have ever seen. I couldn't even get fuel to flow into them.I think the jets will need total replacement. This is also my clue that the engine needa to come apart for inspection and refurbish. Looks like it will be severl months before before I can ride. Too bad because I think I'm really going to like this bike.
