Wrench. wrote:- remove all your lower cowl.
- put a drain pan under your lower head hose connection
- pull the lower head hose connection and let all the coolant drain
- disconnect the hose from upper-left of radiator
- remove coolant overflow bottle (2 bolts, 1 nut, 2 small hoses)
- remove your seat and gas tank
- remove upper head connection hose
- disconnect 2 wires from thermostat housing
- slide the entire thermostat assembly with hoses attached out of the engine area.


thanks mate, i've done most of that so far, just need to get the actual thermostat out, it doesn't help having big hands working in such a small space Mad
