Basically i picked the bike up from Plymouth (eBay job) & dropped it round to a guy i know who was going to do the rebuild for me. I haven't seen the bike since. He sent the cylinder & head off for repair to a local company for repair. All i know is that it's costing more than first quoted (but it always does) & it's taking FOREVER. God knows why the piston kits taking weeks to arrive, but there ya go...lucky i'm in no rush.
I did ask my mate to have a look at the other barrel, but he must have forgot.

I've yet to tell the missus that i've bought another bike, as we're getting married in July & we need to save 5k in 6 months(!)....so didn't think she'd take it too well yet. I'll tell her on our wedding night
