Thanks for the replies... sadly I don't live near any cliffs, there have been times while trying to jet the thing that I would have seriously considered it!
I've got MC18 barrels and carbs, standard airbox and filter, I don't ride it very much, so I'm not bothered about it being able to do millions of miles between rebuilds. That's probably just as well thinking about it...
Jeff - good plan - I'll try finding some MC18 pipes. Do you mean Honda standard ones or aftermarket ones?
PS sorry to hear all about these siezure stories.... I'm sure it's only a matter of time before I'm posting for barrels etc
